New Nightmare on Elm Street 2025 is an upcoming American supernatural horror film and a reboot of the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. It is directed by Lee Cronin from a screenplay by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick and is scheduled to be released on October 2, 2025, by New Line Cinema.
The film follows a group of teenagers who must confront Freddy Krueger, a disfigured child killer who haunts their dreams. The film is a reimagining of the original 1984 film of the same name.
